Besweet LogFile Problem

I use the wizard for Besweet gui. When i go through the 5 steps to convert to AC3 5.1 channels and push the "Go", I get Besweet Notepad pop up. The notepad file is empty The program does not run the conversion from this point.
The blue window shows above besweet with the information for the conversion:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Daddio\Desktop\DVD Utilities\Besweet\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "E:\Conversion Files\Test.mp3" -output "E:\Conversion Files\Test - New - [17.11.2005] - [23.49.31].ac3" -logfilea "C:\Documents and Settings\Daddio\Desktop\DVD Utilities\Besweet\BeSweet.log" ) -ac3enc( -b 384 -6ch ).
I believe this is probably the information for the Logfile.
Anyone have any idea as to why the program won't run at this point, why Beweet Notepad pops up?

Converting a 2 channel mp3 to 6 channel AC3? Could be your problem. If you want 5.1 AC3 then you should looking into the numerous methods out there for creating the extra channels.

I've done this many times before and never had notepad pop up.
When you mention methods, can you suggest some?
