Program disappear

Hi,

I have susscefully installed the SVCD2DVD 2.0. When I try to register, it disappears about 30s after the program loads. So I have to do the registration again quickly. And after i done the registration, it disappear again. So I have to restart the program. The program starts normally. But again, after about 30s, it disappear. Any advise would be appreciated.

What are your Windows language settings?

I am using WinXP SP2, in "Regional and Language Options" tab
Supplemental language support [checked the 1st]
Language used in menus and dialogs [English]
in "Advanced" tab
Language for non-Unicode programs [Chinese (Taiwan)]

Can you change this to English (UK or US) to see if this resolves the problem?

Have it changed to English (US), then start up the progrom. The splash screen shows up and then disappear again.

Can you try reinstalling now that that setting is changed?

I have the same problem and I know changing the language setting will work but then other programs will stop working (i.e. fonts won't be displayed properly) Is there any other way to fix it?
