I am using Samsung 4x DVD+RW's and it is not recognizing them. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

This is the VideoHelp record for your DVD player - it appears to be a very capable player and can certainly read DVD+RWs. Further to this...

...your media seems to be pretty solid, too. I am assuming that the disc isn't scratched up, so it's got to be an issue either with your burner, maybe the disc, or whatever you are trying to burn.

Could you please answer the following questions for us? I'm by no means an expert when it comes to this, but the more detail you provide the more likely you are to get a good, working answer. Here goes:

    - What are you trying to burn? Is it a DVD (as in .VOB files etc.) or a DivX/XviD file?
    - What application are you using to burn it (eg. Nero)?
    - Does the disc you burned work on any other DVD players? Can your PC read it? Have you tried using another disc?

Hopefully, we can sort this out with a little more detail.

I am trying to burn a tv show that I recorded using WinTV. It's in .mpg format. I am using Nero and it did work on my computer. I will try it again today.
