  1. recently my dvd philips burner seized on my computer.Its under warranty so dell had given me the opportunity to replace it with any other dvd burner i want .What are the best ones out there.Someone told me plextor is a good one to install what do you think.

    I would recommend a Pioneer 109 or the new 110. The 109 is a great drive.

  3. plextors are the best thing since sliced bread...no seriously...but they will cost you a good chunk of money compared to some other types, my personal favorite right now is lite on.....imo they are almost as good as plextor and a heck of a lot cheaper, too. I just replaced my drive with a lite on and it costed me all of 45 dollars.

    I like my Benq1620. burns verbatim 8x @ 12x and Dl media @ 4x.

    Get the BENQ 1620 or 1640 which is the latest model.

    I Too Like the Plextors.. I've got two LG's ad a Plextor.. The Plextor Smokes the LG's like Warm Butter...Great Burner...
