    Hi how do i make this player region free.I put a sponge bob disc in and it said wrong region and ejected it.I know they are so many ways but which is the correct way for this player.Philips dvd player 642-37

    Open the disc tray. Type "7 8 9 OK" on your remote and then select "0" for region free or any other region you want. 7 8 9 opens the hidden menu, the last 0 is region free.
