Unable to play Divx File

I have some music videos in Divx 5 format but I can't play them

The video is only a few diagonal lines in Media Player, Divx Player or any other player.

If I open the avi with virtual dub, the video is perfect.

How can I fix this problem ??

With VLC the video is jerky and I've a lot of corrupted frames.



The background of this picture must be black.

did u try 2 fix the video using an app named VideoFixer just google 4 it

Maybe try a virtualdub video and audio Direct Stream Copy and save to a new AVI ?

If that doesn't work then you might need to look at your codecs. Obviously virtualdub is using the right codec, but maybe WMP is using your XviD codec to decode DivX content or something ? Maybe try reinstalling DivX 5 ?
