Computer Completely Freezes after capturing video from Daz90

I just got my dazzle 90 today, and I am having some major problems. I have XP sp2, and whenever I try to capture via the pinnacle software it came with, virtualdub, anything, it freezes after about.. 2 minutes .. maybe less. The video just doesnt freeze, my entire computer freezes. So i have to manually restart my computer.

Of course this makes the capture card completely useless unless I want to capture like 30 seconds of video

So can someone PLEASE help me/give me suggestions/whatever.

I researched a little bit and found out this was a pretty common problem.. I believe dazzle 90 has a problem with either XP or XP sp2.. but is there a fix? What can i do!!!

Have never been happy with most Pinnacle software.

Have been Extremely Unhappy with most Pinnacle drivers, wherein your issue probably lies.

Very device- and OS-specific problem, suggest the Pinnacle forums, and good luck.
