Can I do this with pulldown?

I have a mpeg 2 (23.98 fps) that I have made and added the 3:2 pulldown, I have tried everyway using the tools to mux and/or author into video_ts without success. Can I re-encode (adding audio) to the pulldowned file while choosing 29.97---will it be 29.97 when it is done?
If not is there another way to retain the 3:2 so it can make the video_ts???

PS--Orig file won't work in quicktime and mpeg2enc will not work for me so i'm seeing this as my only option.

Which was the exact error from the process output?

If I try to mux with a audio file I get (Too many frame drops) If I try to author to dvd w/video_ts it says that the file is not supported or it does it but the vob is only like 100mb and when played is just 1min of sound with no picture. Or most of the time it starst the proccess but the program quits on me(only when trying authoring)

Anyway I just tried my earlier question. I took the pulled down video only reencoded and added a audio file in the "Add Audio" option. All I got is a mpv with no added audio and still no video_ts

"Mux as.. DVD" should be used to mux, not "Add audio". Could you email me (to major4@mac.com) your process output?
