Philips 642 owners

For people that have not heard of this, check it out.

I have owned my Philips 642 Divx/Dvd/Xvid player for a few months now and like others have had troubles with some files playing, audio sync problems, etc..

I have learned most of the fixes from several websites, this one included.

I happened onto an article by Lisa B. from a newsgroup posting that I believe should be recommended reading for the 642 owners and even other divx players. It addreses most of the common problems I had encountered and answered some of my unanswered questions.
