  1. Now we prepare information for second h.264 codecs comparison test, that will be compared with more advanced metrics. So we collect information about current available codecs and there stage. If you have ANY information about this codecs or another codecs please replay this message!

    I saw it at show and requested more info -- I was told that one studio is already in production with it and general release in july 2005, it will be sold like scenarist often is - i.e. a workstation , but the encoder was software based.

    wavelet compression like quVis quBit D-Cinema compression would be interesting compare against H264 , I have used it a lot for d-cinema server compression.

    Ok! I mention it in list.

    wavelet compression like quVis quBit D-Cinema compression would be interesting compare against H264 , I have used it a lot for d-cinema server compression.
    Previous comparison was with DivX (good reference point). I think next will be with DivX too.
    We plan special testing for non standard codecs, but I cannot point to date.
