theater 550pro vs pvr 150mce?

Well, I have the 550pro and have been struggling for the past month to get the card to work with any software. I am now considering the Hauppauge pvr 150 mce card. Would this card be compatible with capture programs such as Pinnacle and Ulead? Does anyone here own both cards? What is the picture quality difference between the two cards? Thanks!

Why can't you just import the clip with Pinnacle and Ulead?, Is it becuase the MPEG files generated by the Theater 550 Pro are not very compatible with some tools like let say Ulead DVD MovieFactory when I try set up auto 1 min chapters point it carp out after 6 min's in to it and using Womble MPEG-VCR MPEG "GOP fixer" I fine it show lot's of error in GOP time code which not good at all, But writing out a new files with Womble MPEG-VCR fix the problem.

Pinnacle NO but you able to import the clip
Ulead YES in fact it come with DVD MovieFactory or you can download plug-in driver for full ver apps.
