  1. hi i am trying to transfer some video footage on my video machine through a tv card on to the computer it all appears to go fine until i play and it appears to have what i believe is a hashy sort of sound from what i can tell it might be in the background but other than that i have no idea can anyone help or at least suggest anything at all any help would be most helpful thanks in advance

    Do you have a microphone hooked up? If so unplug it, or disable it on your soundcard configuration.
