    The software that comes with your capture/tuner card is usually the best software to use, it's designed to work with the card.

    For file/dvd playback try PowerDVD.

    You need Screen Vidshot 1.2... It's a good program which can capture all happening on the screen...

  4. I don't think he was looking for screen capture software, but video capture software that can capture full res and display full screen.

    I'll echo thecoalman's answer and try the software that came with your capture card.

    Screen Vidshot is a screen video capture software!!! And it don't need any special video capturing card!!!

    Show me exactly how I can capture my favourite TV show, or VHS tape, using your oh-so-wonderful program...

    Besides, the advertised program can't even capture actual 25fps in real time from a video running even as low as 320x240. Actually most programs of that genre seem to be unable to do that, the result is invariably jaggy.
