Any good Media Center Players (not dvd players) play XVID?

I've seen a few media centers released and was wondering which are the best.

I saw dlink release one that of course chokes on 99% of xvid and dvix files.

Of course 99% of all video on the net is xvid and divx....


My question is does anyone know of any stand alone players that are able to play the dvix and xvid properly? I have a DVP642 for dvd playing etc but wouldn't mind a LAN based media center that handled the video properly.

Are there certain chipsets I should look for in the units that do the job properly?

I have one and it plays just about everything I've thrown at it, either off my local network or recorded on a DVD or CD, including lots of poorly encoded crap off the net. It's also handles any video dimensions allowing you to see it in actual size, fit to screen, stretched, zoomed or square pixels. My only disappointment as far as codecs go is that it won't play mp4s using the 3ivx codec. Standard mp4s work fine. The big plus with this unit is that it can play files in 1080i definition if you're into HD. Even standard DVDs look fantastic.
