    Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been answered before but I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer. I have two episodes of a series on a dvd menu but they are in the wrong order (the 1st selection is actually the second episode). I can get the selections to play the correct episode using Pgcedit, but the text on the selections still shows the wrong episode. The guide said to save the cell as a bitmap and then edit it, but when I preview the menu in programs such as Pgcedit the text isn't there - just the background. I can't see any more cells. Where does the text come from? Is it in another file somewhere that I can edit, or am I trying to do something that's impossible? I don't really want to do another menu because there are another 11 disks with the same menu and I can't replicate it.

Please help guys, it's driving me nuts.

    John.

If the text isn't there on a screen capture, then they probably used a subpicture with the text in it. Use SubRip to get the subpics as see if the text is there.

Thanks a lot SLK001. You're right, the text is there and I can save it as a bitmap to edit. Is there any program which will allow me to re-insert the edited bitmap back into the VOB easily, or do I have to demux the original VOB and then re-author with the new bitmap somehow. I'm new to this so I'm muddling my way through.

I've never used it, but menuedit may be of use. Don't know...

    Good luck.
