    I've encoded a DVD VOB file and after what appears to be the end of the first chapter, the audio begins to lag the video by approximately 30 seconds.

    Up until that point, the audio is in perfect sync with the video.

    I'm encoding this video for playback on a Sony PSP and am using the PSP settings.

    Any ideas?

    Bumped because the exact same thing happens to me; except with a MPEG-4 conversion.
