A while back someone from these boards recommended to me a PC program called MPEG4Modifier that will set the DAR (display aspect ratio) of an mpg4 avi. I've tried it and it works very well. Basically, if you have an anamorphic 16:9 DVD, you can encode in mpg4 at the original full 720x480 rez (obviously it will look squished) and then use MPEG4Modifier to change the DAR to display as 16:9, appx 853x480. Very cool! It would be awesome to see this feature in ffmpegX. just my .02 of course, respectfully.

also, any plans on batch processing? that would be sweeet.
