    Hi,

    When i make a AVI to DVD with subtitles, it takes about 12-14 hours ? can that be right ?

    I'm new in converting on a MAC hehe

    If you use "DVD mpeg2enc" then it can take such time and depending on your machine speed. "DVD ffmpeg" may be faster. I will soon publish some data about mpeg-2 encoding speed benchmarks.

    But if I use the ffmpeg then i can't get subtitle on the dvd, so i can watch the dvd on a dvd player, and still see the subtitle, right ?
