    Would someone give me a long list of software that optimizes the system.

    So far i know of Tuneup Utilities
    Diskeeper
    Hijack This
    Malware Bouncer
    Crap Cleaner
    Spybot Search and destroy
    Pest Patrol
    Registry Mechanic
    Disk cleanup
    Mem Turbo

    Can ne1 tell me programs better than this please..

    You got all those installed and running?
    That's your problem

    Just keep diskeeper installed.
    Run ad-aware and hijack this once a month

    My short list: Spybot S&D, AVG antivirus, SpyWareBlaster.

    I go to some of the worst sites imaginable(Some RU sites ) and no virus, no trojans, no problems for several months to date. Though, you have to pay attention and be careful.

    If you have too many anti-programs, they will spend all of their time fighting each other.

    I also use a router for a hardware firewall and a proxy server for the really tough sites.

    A lot of those programs you have do their thing 'after the fact'. You need to be more proactive. If you stop the nasties before they get in, it's a whole lot easier than trying to strain them out afterwards.

    ashampoo
    registry mechanic
    hijack this
    and fix-it lol..

    will these conflict??
