video blaster movie maker can it make true vcds for dvd play

I just got the video blaster and every vcd i have made fails to play on my pioneer dvd333 they play on my computer though. has anyone had luck with this or is there a better capture card for converting analog video to vcds help I am about to make this a fubar capture card.....
