  1. Hi All
    Is it poss to record a prog on my Pioneer 220 recorder and just end up with one video file insted of several files? i want to edit out adverts but i have 3 video files and when joined up on my pc it is impossible to get a complete prog without jumps when joining files, any ideas?

    Just rip with DVDDecrypter and in the setting tab....check (or set) file splitting NONE.

  5. Everything going great, edited out the adverts in Womble mpeg editor , i now have a file which i can play in windows, however i cant seem to burn it to dvd using clone dvd, am i missing something??? thanks again

    CloneDVD?.....YUK...
    Now you need to re-author that thing.
    TDA (follow the link) is not free but I believe it is still a 30 day trial.
    Other than that you are stuck with either IFOEdit or VOBEdit ....one of those two (forget which one) can do a simple re-author...but are a bit scary looking at first.

Thanks for all the info, i have just downloaded TDA 30 day trial, and imported the file i created with DVD Decrypter, edited out the adverts with TDA and created a video file which i can import into any burning software, great, seems too easy? it would seem i only need this prog to do everything inc editing, seems to be a prog worth buying.............

  8. One last thing, i have a number of RM video files which i would like to edit and burn to dvd as mpeg so i can play them in my stand alone player, any ideas?
