    Is there any way of finding out the cropped resolution before the source is encoded? I'd like to use the original width of 720, but fear that I might be upsising from the crop. If this is so, I'd then use the pre-encode cropped width.

    In Auto Gordian click on Advanced Settings and check the Advanced Options there .
