    My screen is split in two....
    What the hell is this?
    My screen looks like an old TV that flipping...but is stuck like this.
    Anybody have any ideas where to look first?

    OK....now it has amazingly gone back to normal. I left my computer for an hour or two...came back to it in screensaver mode....shook my mouse and after briefly showing the split screen...it jumped back to normal....strange.

    As I recall...I noticed the problem coming out of screensaver mode as well as it fixing itself from screensaver mode so...I think my screensaver mode is/was the problem....I hope...
    Cable is fine.

    weird...could be your hardware..if so not much you can do. you could always try updating your video drivers...wouldnt hurt
