Hello all,
I know this DVD Phillips 642 player can play both PAL and NTSC formats. But my question if this unit can do the conversion to play a NTSC DVD on a PAL TV and vice versa ?
Are here anybody arround who experience this try ?
Thanks, I need this info ASAP because I want to ship oversea this unit.
Thanks in advance
BTW also I do have an RJ3600M unit. And for this unit, I do have the same questions as above.

Mine plays Pal DVD's on 3 of my TV, 1 is about 3 years old. I would say yes to your Questions as it Out puts Pal signal and NTSC and the play does the Converting,I also think Pal TV's are more forgiving then NTSC ones.
