Using Wireless to send Media to DVD Recorder

I have been downloading,encoding and making dvds successfully but encoding takes so long that I was thinking of buying a dvd recorder( I currently use a dvd burner installed in my computer) and a wireless media adapter and sending the movie files directly to dvd recorder and making dvds this way so that I no longer need to encode files for hours and hours.
Has anyone done this or am I crazy?

Crazy.

You cannot "send files" to the recorder. It is an analog input device. Some have DV too, but still not the same.

Maybe have your computer output analog to DVD recorder in.

You can always buy the DVDs if it's so much trouble. And you'd better be talking about legit stuff too. 'Warez' is not a topic allowed here.

Yeah i have used a Wireless A/V sender,Does not work to good.

I tried one of those, lousy quality. I ran coax the 40+ feet instead, works much better.

I think only 1 or 2 recorders can be used like this.Its only for a Camcorder , but it can be done from the computer on a few.

JVC can .. only one I know about that can use timeline in.

This isn't exactly what you want, but it *is* wireless streaming to a DVD recorder, and yes, it does work.

1) Have a wireless network.
2) Have a wireless equiped laptop with S-video output.
3) Assuming that some media files on your 'desktop' computer are in shared folders that you can access with your laptop, you just feed them into the DVD recorder.

Prior to using hacked firmware on my router which allowed me to iincrease the power output, I just would not trust the connection enough to actually record something though.

There are wireless or network equipped DVD players out there.
