Broadcast Encoding miniDV camera question

Hi, I am trying to stream live video from my digital camcorder. I can
see the input box with the live feed from my camera in the encoder.
When I click start encoding, however, the input goes blank and there is
no output on the :8080 http port or locally. I chose all the defaults.

When I used VideoLAN, I eventually got it to work, but when I clicked http://dshow, I could never see the video online. It is all local. No firewalls or Internet.

Any advice? Thanks.

replace dshow with your IP. http://www.myip.dk/
