HI everyone, nice site here.
I searched but can't find why my TV Tuner is not giving a good image. At best, it flickers and the picture keeps "scrolling" vertically, (like the vertical hold dial on old tv's)
I just custom-built my first computer, so here's what I have:
ASUS P4P800E DLX Motherboard
P4 3.0E Ghz
1GB Ram
200GB SATA HD
ATI All-in-Wonder 9600XT vid card.
Installing the video card was a pain, but everything seems to be working now, EXCEPT the TV tuner.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance,
Ed

Its all about how you have your antenna or cable are connected.
Or you may need to uninstall and reinstall drivers.
I've already uninstalled and reinstalled with ATIs latest drivers.
What should I look out for re: cable connection? I take the exact cable that's attached to the back of my TV and plug it into my video card. I currently have a splitter on it, but even when I remove the splitter, the picture problem is the same.
I also tried the S-video/composite video IN from my DV Camcorder to the video card and I have the same picture problem.
The picture looks scrambled - that's the best way to describe it.
