    Can you play divx in 625 philips dvd player? is there any code for that. otherwise i am able to play all dvds on that player..

    Mine does like the sticker on it says, plays DivX 3.11, 4.X and 5.X. Maybe you're thinking Xvid? That player has problems with some forms of Xvid recorded material...

    Big Ooops! I have a 642. The 625 and 745 can only play DVDs. DivX they can't do. Best to dump your machine and get a 642...
