Installation Error

I know this if off topic, but it has to do with a video editing program anyways. I just bought Adobe Premiere and tried to install it, but when I clicked on the setup file it said, "C:\WINDOWS|SYSTEM32|AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS_DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." Then it either gives me option to close or ignore, and both just abort the setup. Anybody know how to fix this? thanx.

Yes, you can do web search for the error, or copy the file from windows/repair to the system32 folder.

what version of Premiere, if it is Pro 1 or 1.5 you need to XP installed.

Anyhow is that a older version of Premier? You usually get that error on older apps. I couldn't find any instances where that error came up for premier by googling it.

It's that stupid SP2 update. I never saw it my OEM XP Home version. But once I did the update, the error came up whenever it felt like it. You may not find the error by Googling Premiere, but if you Google the error itself, you will see my solution.
