How does one change the region setting on a Malata DAV-3100, when playing disks with a region 1, I get an error of "wrong region" This was purchased in Canada.

I don't have this player, so I can't comment on whether it works or not.
Thanks, the links did work. But in reading it, still no help to change the region. Not sure what to do,? I did contact the manufacture and they are to contact me back. Still waiting (2weeks), will have to call them back. If nothing else, maybe I may have to return it... fustating since it does work well playing non region dvd, and all set-up
