    I have a Pioneer 106D and would like to set the booktype to DVD-ROM. I use DVD Decrypter for my backups and there is no option to set the booktype.
    Is there any firmware I can use to change the booktype on the 106.

    You will need to use somthing like Nero.

    Pioneer 106D firmware does not support bitsetting. The only Pioneer I know of that does is the DVR-108 when flashed with the Piodata firmware.

    not really,but if you use copytodvd,it will change it accordingly,depending on what media(+),and what kind of disc.
