Every magazine I open, every tv news broadcast I see, every newspaper tech section I browse.... FIREFOX FIREFOX FIREFOX

    It's everywhere.

    Anybody else noticing this trend?

I mean, literally, it's in pretty much everywhere.

while I agree it's a good thing, I wonder if it's seeming ubiquity is really tunnel vision?

I talk to people (non-techies) at work about Firefox, they've never heard of it - and these are people who watch the news, read the paper... just not the tech pages!

  7. I've always noticed that for the most part you don't see MS apps in commercials. Case in point you usually see a Mac interface in commercials, guess that's because most of the creators are using Mac's.

Same for browsers, until recently say the last few years it was always a netscape browser in the commercial...... always seemed that way to me.

  8. FireFox has always proven to be perfectly stable for me, gives me a nicer interface and I have some very useful extensions on it. It blocks spyware and popups more effectively that Internet Explorer can.

I'm not going back. I'm a happy convert.

I've already noticed a difference in page layouts between IE and Firefox. Firefox difenately renders them differently, I had to build a special dtd file just because of it.

I say screw firefox!! as it cost me time and money
tgpo famous MAC commercial, You be the judge?

I design sites for IE since it has 90%+ share.
But I make sure it loads in others.
Slight design changes, could care less. Close enough.

I'm using FIREFOX because it keeps out self-installing junkware.

The Free version has an ad banner, but it is fully functional.
I think it's worth it... It really saves me a lot of time.

I know what you mean. In Independence Day it's a MAC

In Jurassic Park 1 and 3 it's a MAC (Silicon Graphics actually with a MAC interface ).

Even in the movie Garfield they had a jerky IMAC.

I'm sure there are tons more
