  1. Hey folks,

    ive got a strange problem here.
    I have captured my movies using picvideo m-jpeg, after finish of capturing my computer doesnt recognize the file type, not even videolan could playback the file.
    I was using virtualdub when capturing the movie, but even virtualdub doesnt recognize the file when tried to open!

    the file ended up about 5GB+

    I can played the movie fine when it as about 250mb.

    could anyone help me please, what other codec do i need.

    i am using picvideo version 3 for capturing my video.

  2. Because it's motion-JPEG and not MPEG. M-JPEG is nothing more than a series of still photos. It isn't video.
