  1. Hi there
I recently bought a Happauge nova t card, which I had to return partly because of the buggy software.
It would appear that the signal where I live is quite weak as the card just would'nt work that well. (even on my outdoor ariel)

    My question is
I'm looking for a digital TV pvr, if it had a analog in that would be great,
that works well on a low signal.
I'm thinking I might have to splash out and buy a better outdoor ariel, our current one is a commual one.
I live on the ground floor in a housing estate, so the area is quite built up
    does this badly affect signal.

Does anyone have any knowledge that they can impart?

I live in London (UK) about 7 miles from the nearest transmitter.

i have a mac and a pc if anyone has info on a good mac card/box ie cheaper than the elgato boxes.

    thanks in advance
