To better help us decide what CD/DVD printer to get, I am asking all what printer they use, what price they paid, & what is the drying time of the discs after print?

Please all answer if you can to help those out that want to compare.
& Please only answer if you have a CD/DVD printer.

  3. Epson 900 (discontinued) £149... Got it early in its shelf life. Dry as disk exit.
Epson 200 or 300 is as good as they get now. I know someone who now has 3 of them.

  4. R200

Well to be honest, I spray krylon clear coat on mine right after and put a blow dryer to that for about 10-15 seconds. So I would say right away.

BTW, Fry's has had the R200 for $69.99 for the past week. Plus I am using generic carts which for a full set cost $26 and they have a higher capacity then the originals.

Added: I print full face DVD's, I don't like the other disc.

    R200.

I let it dry overnight (as the manual say) before I play them.

    I'm using the disco'd Epson SP900. Paid $250CND 1.5 years ago
Dry within minutes but I wait till next day to spray.

Recently purchased a R200 ($99CND) but it's still in the box waiting for the JlWsales CISS to arrive to set-up.

@Rick: I got some P. Nimock's Gloss Spray today along with a can of LewisCraft Gloss; I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow...

    I have the Epson R200. Paid $66 U.S.
Works great when it works, every once in a while it will stick in the printer and require a re-feed.
Beautiful prints on imprintable discs. I have found that the discs are dry to the touch in 20 minutes or so, but will still smear if you aren't careful.
I usually let them dry for 24 hours then seal with Krylon.
By the way, I am looking for an alternative to the Krylon, it works but smells something awful when used indoors, and the surface finish is a little more pebbled then I would like. If you do seal the discs after, be careful to not let the overspray get on the bottom of the discs.
Overall rating? I would say 8 or 9 out of 10. Great little printer for the money.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't after you . . .
