When I capture from my dv camera with Windv I get these small segments. This is just 5 minutes of video. I used to be able to make them much larger.

This is my settings on Windv, are they OK?

  2. Hi tweedledee,

how does your video look? Isn't it choppy? I'd recommend to capture every frame not just every 5th frame. Check "Every N-th frame" setting on your screenshot. I'd set it to 1 instead of 5.

Thanks, I have set them to 1 now, but I still have the problem. I have discovered that each time there is a scene change, It starts a fresh segment. It did'nt do this before. I can't have thirty or so segments as I have to run them through TMPGEnc to convert to MPEG2. Any ideas how to change this?

  4. Try to set "Discontinuitty treshold" field to 0. (http://windv.mourek.cz/)

Please, let us know if this solved your problem.
