    I've got a stand-alone Gateway DVD recorder, with which I recorded Farscape: The PeaceKeeper Wars, on a rewriteable + disk. Plays back just fine, on the computer and on the TV.

    I ran VideoReDo (trial) and removed the commercials and joined the edited VOBs into one large mpeg, which plays just fine on the computer.

    I authored the large mpeg with DVD-lab and transferred it with Nero to both a DVD-R and DVD+R disk. Each disk plays just fine on my computer.

    *However*, when I play the disks back on the TV, the audio "skips" or "burps" about every five seconds or so.

    Any ideas on what is going on, or what to try next? I'm going to try to re-author with DVD Maestro next, I guess...

    Any comments much appreciated!!

    OK, replying to myself...
    Here is an update:

    DVD-lab 1.31 still trashes the audio
    DVD-lab 1.42 Beta (standard) handles the audio just fine
    DVD-lab Pro handles the audio just fine
    Nero Vision Express handles the audio just fine
    DVD-Maestro handles the audio just fine

    So, if you use VideoReDo, you might keep this in mind.

    Did you try running the VOBs thru Quickstream Fix in VRD?
