Can someone tell me how to rip a VCD? Or give me a link to a guide and software to do it or something. I'm trying to rip a VCD to mpeg so I can consolidate them onto 1 DVD. Or is this even possible?

    Thanks!

Go to the Convert section to your left ...

    or https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?tools=&madeby=&formatconversionselect=VCD+to&howto...or+List+Guides

https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/141726.php#vcd will show you how to convert VCD to an MPG. Then drop this MPG into TMPGEnc DVD Author and job's right.

Similarly you can use VCDGear to do a DAT ==> MPEG extraction then drop this into TDA.

TDA will automatically convert the audio from 44.1Khz to 48 Khz for you so it is my tool of choice for this job.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Thanks so much! It worked. That leads to my next question. Can I put MPEG 1's and 2's on the same DVD disc?

    Hello,

Sure, use tmpgenc dvd author and it will leave your mpg2's alone and upcode the audio to dvd compliance on the mpg1.
