    Can this unit which has both a dvd recorder and a vhs unit built together record at the same time.Of course just one signal coming into the unit.Like if I wanted to record a program to both units at the same time..Thank you

    You only have two options in the record setup, DVD or VCR so I would say no.

    I have one and it records to ONLY VHS OR DVD at one time. Its obvious from the VCR/DVD selector and indicator lights. I like my Panasonic units better but the sansui works just fine.
