  1. I keep getting this error on 3D applications...

    "the nv4_disp display driver has stopped working normally..."

    Any clues? I've tried updating/rolling back the drivers, but still don't have a clue. One google search I did led to one guy who suggested that the gpu fan was giving up and that the gpu was overheating...sounds plausible. Is there any way to check my gpu? I tried watching it from the computer window but it was moving pretty quick and i got dizzy and fell down j/k

    try disabling nview and the tray icon. I found these to be trouble makers and worth the issues they have caused me.

    what chipset, and video card?

  4. The problem happen on all 3D games, Doom3, Call of Duty, and Codename:Panzers...

    chipset? hell if I know...

    Video Card? BFG Nvidia FX5600 256mb

  5. Think everything's fixed now...found out the chipset was an nforce2.

    downloaded and installed new drivers for the video and audio card, and chipset...
