    Hello!!!

My problem is that I would like to buy the Denon 3802 for Christmas. I was sure, but when I heard about dts 96khz/24Bit I began to doubt.
    (more Information here: http://www.tagmclarenaudio.com/members/news/news31.asp)

I don't want to buy such an expensive receiver when it's technic could be too old for a new standard after one year.
I think that dts 96/24 will get a new standard in about 1 or 2 years. So it would get on my nervs if my receiver couldn't play that format at best sound quality!!!!
But I also don't want to buy the AVC-A11SR, because it's double the price of the 3802, but it doesn't have much more except the THX ULTRA certificate.
    So my question is:
"dts 96/24 will only require a single SHARC 21065L (60 MIPS) more to decode the extensions. So do you think that it will be possible to send the receiver in about 1 or 2 years to techtronics for example and that they will be able to upgrade the ordinary dts decoder to dts 96/24 ??!!!!
Would be nice if somebody could help me!!!

    Thanks a lot & Bye
