Panasonic recorder, block noise

I have the Panasonic e85h and I’ve noticed that when I set it to record to the hard drive for later high speed dubbing to DVD, when I do dub, there appears to be a fair amount of block noise on the resulting DVD. I guess I shouldn’t use the high speed dubbing? Anyone else encounter a problem along these lines?

Record in 2 hour instead of 4 hour.

Also dont use cheap media because that can cause many problems.
