I am just beginning the home video editing. I purchased VS8, not sure if that was the best idea, but it is too late now. Anyway. I captured some video in DV Type 2. I dragged the clip into the storyboard and switched to the timeline view, however, I am not seeing the clip frame by frame. I just see one frame. Is this correct or should be I be able to view each frame. I would hate to not be able to see frame by frame. I can't seem to find an answer on the Ulead web forum nor the instruction manual, but that doesn't surprise me.

okay nevemind - took me awhile, but found my answer on a google group. sheesh, two hours later,

First make sure your in timeline view (tabs on bottom left) and then maybe you need to adjust the time scale. Otherwise not sure, I have VS7.

  3. Ack. How about posting an answer so I don't have to search google groups too!
