    Dear Friends,

    do we get a poor dvd video quality played, if we decide to install a VHS player between other DVD stand alone player and our TV set ?

    If you are playing a commercial DVD then the video signal will also include Macrovision, a type of copy protection. This is designed so that you cannot record the DVD with your VCR. You need to plug your player directly into your TV.
