  1. Hello,

Im sure that this will be a really newbie question. But I have a number of mpeg 2 files( television series) and I want to stuff as much as I can onto a DVD. Is there any way that I can use Final Cut Pro to stuff 3 or 4 hours of footage onto a 4.7 GB disc? If anyone knows, please walk me though it? Thanks guys . . .

    But that's just an NLE.
    It won't author/burn for you.

lordsmurf is correct..keeping your Variable Bit Rate down
to around 2.5-2.8 will allow you to push 3.5 hours
( I've done this myself, and with editing out the
end credits, I could get 7 one hour long eps onto
a disc), but you will need DVDSP2/3 to author
    and burn.
