I have several capture cards...an ATI 7500 AIW (AGP)...an AverMedia AverTV Stereo (PCI)...and an AverMedia DVD EZMaker (PCI). I'm considering installing all of them in one PC, but before I potentially hose everything and have to do a format C:, I was wondering if anyone else has put multiple capture devices in their PC without problems.

I have the EZMaker and an ATI AIW 7200 in my system. The AVer is trash, but good for testing.

Yeah, I'm thinking about doing this to do some comparative testing. I got the DVD EZMaker for $10 after rebate from OfficeMax the other day. I figure that for that price, I don't really care if it turns out that it sucks.

Question, is yours the BT878 version, or the Philips SAA7130 model? I got the Philips model.

Just FYI for anyone who is interested...I have all three devices working in my PC just fine.

@LS -- what makes you say the EZMaker sucks? Just curious.

He's an ATI snob ... Doesn't like us poor people who can only afford an Aver card.

The doom9 capture guide has a bunch of test pics that compared various chipsets at various frame sizes. Section #5. Not that you should agree with the comments, but the pics are interesting.
