    Okay I was watching videos with quicktime and I saved one to my computer as a mov file but it wont play in any other players except quicktime and internet explorer, and I tired to encode it to vcd with tmpegnc but it didn't work it said the file was unsupported, how could I convert it to vcd.

    You could get the qtreader plugin for tmpgenc and all should be well.
