I'm looking for a DVD playing software that will allow me to step forward ONE frame at a time. I've noticed some programs have a "step" button, but in actuality it moves more than a SINGLE frame when you hit it.

Zoom Player does that. You can configure the step to the mouse wheel or the keyboard arrows.

Thanks for the reply. I installed Zoom Pro and it looks like I get about 13 frames per second (by doing consecutive next frame advances). On my Panasonic E80 I get 24 frames per second.

There are frames not showing up (skipped over, whatever) on the PC. This has me very confused.

  5. I'm also looking for a player that will move one frame at a time. QuickTime has that feature but I'd like to find another player that does it.
