    the only cable I can get that'd long enough to reach my tv is a svideo cable, but I still needed to use a rca cable to connect it, so I broke the 3 extra pins out of the adapter that came with the hollywood plus card, along with the little plastic thing, didn't seem like this would hurt anything. well, now it won't work normally or at the end of the svideo cable. how can I fix the adapter? thanks.

    You can buy another cable, they don't cost much, and you can buy one that already has the RCA connection at the other end.
