  1. I’ve just installed the demo version of VCDEasy for evaluation. Now, when I attempt to start the program I get a “Window Media Player (required by VCDEasy) does not seem to be installed (or fully installed) on this windows” error. I’ve tried reinstalling WMP using the link the VCEasy error windows provided and I’m still getting the same error. As far as I can tell WMP seem be working fine. Other programs that use WMP or embed it seem to be working with fine. Any idea what VCDEasy is looking for that these other programs are not?

I'm currently using Windows XP. It's full patched and running the lastest services patch

I had similar problem with Win98SE. To get it to work I had to uninstall
WMP and reinstall with WMP 7.1 as I had installed a later version which
caused VCDEasy to abort with GPF Kernel errors. The corrupted file
I suspect was MSDXM.OCX; part of WMP.

    For what it's worth,
